I am Indy!!!!!

Well Guys, I don't know about you,  but when I was a kid I wanted to be an archaeologist since I had seen Indiana Jones (all the movies about 20 times). I thought that it would be perfect for moi. Great adventures and exotic places, foreign languages and alluring treasures, what more can a girl ask for right!

I used to sit with the world atlas and look at the maps fantasizing about going to the mountains in Nepal or the deep and misty Amazons and used to pretend I was this female archaeologist always on the borderline of danger but with my amazing skills in "everything". I'd always escape at the right moment and save the tribes from evil and treausure hungry Nazi's or something.

Childhood memories... well, I thought that anthropology and archeology seemed so interesting.
That, my friends, was before I found out what an archaeologist really do, and I was sad to discover it was very far from my beloved Indiana Jones adventures.

I was doing research on how to become an archaeologist and discovered that it would first of all take bloody forever to learn all that history and I would have to specialize in one or two historic periods and learn ancient languages, I can't even learn Spanish!?

And then I discovered that I would spend alot of time digging like and doing tedious research to come up with a natural digging site and that may take months, even years!

What happened to my romantic and exiting adventures, well they went down the drain.
But no worries, I am happy with my life so it all worked out for the best, but I am still day dreaming sometimes, and the best part is that in my dreams is that, I am just like Indy, and it all works out in the end.

I was fortunate enough to see the latest of George Lucas and Steven Spielbergs  masterpiece "Kingdom of the crystal scull". My boyfriend Patrick surprised me yesterday with movie tickets to Indiana Jones and I was thrilled.

We bought some serious amount popcorn since my boyfriend Patrick is addicted to popcorn, he basically got to have a dose of that stuff like 5 times a week. I voted for some sweet candy and some soft drinks and off we went.

As we got to the cinema in Puerto Banus we had of course bought tickets for the English version since we don't speak Spanish very well. I must say with out revealing to much to those who have not yet seen it, that it was the perfect Indy movie.

The music was kick ass and the choice of actors were excellent and the story was classic, with a space twist. You got to give it to Harrison Ford, he is not bad for an old geezer and the effects where pretty damn good too, if you ask me.

So if you feel like a bit of adventure ,this is a movie I would recommend folks.

Enjoy

Work it out now, soul funk brother

Summer is approaching and I can tell people are getting the urge to work out a little bit extra since when I go for a walk at the beach down here in Marbella, Spain, you see people sweating and running like their lives were at stake.

I love trying on summer clothes but there is something I don't like about trying on bikinis.
Normally the chancing rooms are badly lit and you see your ass in angels you just don't wanna. I personally like those mirrors that miraculous makes you drop like two sizes and you look great. I don't mind buying into a lie! I have to shape up a bit and have been trying to chance my diet habits for the better the last month and been trying to move my ass a bit extra, and I am trying to drink alot of water since it does cleanse the body and makes my skin healthy.  It's bloody hard to drink 2 litres of water a day, I don't know about you guys but it makes me pee like a dog.

Well the last job I did was yesterday, a shoot on the beach and it was windy as hell and I was freezing my booty of. It's a campaign  for a restaurant and beach club chain.

I had the pleasure to work with y boyfriend Patrick who was the photographer and is doing the marketing and image campaign for them. So here is a preview, Enjoy!

Playmate of the year!

New Playmate of the year!!!

Jayde Nicole, 22 ,of Port Perry, Ontario Canada is this years stunning Playmate of the year.

She is a stunning Canadian brunette and the last time a Canadian hottie held the title was in 1982, by Shannon Tweed the girlfriend of Gene Simmons who still is a hottie and Canada seems to have a lot to offer when it comes to sexy women.
Along with the title Jayde receives a 100,000 U.S dollars and a kick ass 2008 Cadillac CTS.

According to Playboy she is writing a beauty and fitness book and just finished filming a pilot of a reality television show about here life.
Well, what can I say, congrats Jayde, you look fantastic and good luck with the future.
The only bad thing I have to say is that the dress she wore was really horrible, maybe she should take some of the money and invest in some new clothes.

Other then that I think Playboy made a great choice!

GLAMOUR of SWEDEN WHATEVER!!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys,

Well, I got a little bit upset when I read an article about a shitty site called "Glamour of Sweden".
Basically it's the same old cheesy story about some guys taking advantage of some dumb ass young girls or naive, depends what you prefer to believe.
These girls are exploited on the Internet, they get to live in a house and apparently they don't get paid but the do get accommodation and food....Ohhh that's just swell.

For this they have to entertain old pervs and hang out at seedy clubs and "entertain", mummy and daddy must be proud! It just pisses me off and apparently the "Consulate of General of Sweden" in Los Angeles don't like what this is doing for the Swedish image, and I have to agree!!!

Sweden has become famous for being a sexual liberated country since the 60's and the Swedish sin was a world known concept to all foreigners specially the Americans. If they got a fair deal I would not even ponder over this "Glamour of Sweden" stuff but the fact that they are being used, and at the same time giving Swedish women a bad rep at the same time is not something I'm exactly thrilled over.

I don't mind sexually provocative people or the fact that Swedish women are portraited as beautiful and liberated women as long as it's done with class and that the women in that case are in control of things and not getting used by money hungry men who wants there meal ticket paid for. I am a model and have modeled for many years so I have done fashion and sexy men's magazine , I don't mind doing sexy pictures if the photographer knows what he is doing and I feel comfortable but I would never do skanky pictures for free and no purpose.

So I hope these girls wake up and smell the coffee, cause with the L.A sex kitten lifestyle comes alot of drugs bad choices and a fucking hangover and I've seen to many young girls ending up like that and I hope at least one of them realises that this is not the way to become a famous "Glamour model" or find fortune and fame is just a really good way of being taken advantage of.

Juicy summer of 2008

Juicy summer fashion and trends spring/summer 2008

Well guys, I would not call myself a fashion slave cause I believe one should take inspiration, but create your own style. If you ask me people who claim to be fashionistas but take help from a stylist are hypocrites...Bloody hell if you can't pick out your own clothes then you should not portray yourself as a fashion icon! I am so tried of bubblehead Nicole Richie or the Simpson sisters and what ever there faces are.

Fashion should be comfortable and improve the way you look and keep your beautiful ass warm when it is cold and sexy when you are hitting the clubs or you just wanna look good for your sweetheart. First of all you should always dress after the occasion and also dress to fit your body type. If you are short or tall ,voluptuous or skinny dress to impress, don't squeeze in to a two sizes pair of small jeans when you obviously going to look like a stuffed sausage or wear a tent when your a short ass.

This is some pointers on how to look fabulous this promising summer, are you ready!

Light, airy long-dresses and long, flowing skirts, comfortable and easy to wear. Think a more modern hippie approach, but please stay away from looking like a milking made from a different century.

The maxi dress makes a real statement this season in classy and casual styles. Flowing, drapes with pleats and ruffles and one-shoulder necklines. Remember though if you are shorter opt for something that does not make you tumble and fall when you walk, wear hells, wedges to give some hight and you will look fantastic and if you are tall congrats you dont ned to do more then look fab.

Two-sleeved styles are given the cold-shoulder by many designers. Zac Posen, Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Proenza Schouler and J Mendel in favor of an off-the-shoulder look.
Be aware if you dont have fantastic shoulders opt for a nother style than this since it might give the reversed effect. Trouser suits follow the feminine, floaty theme with Asian fisherman style pants (Phillip Lim) and elegant flowing trousers. Some are influenced by the African safari, like Diane Von Furstenberg’s classic white ensemble.

Accessorize with hippie chick headbands and headscarves . Safaris style white hats match the desert inspired look and large totes and make a big fashion statement love the ethnic look and always find cool neclases and bracelets in seconhandshop or markets. More posh approach is to mix it up with some Hermes bracelets or a cartier ring.

Belts are everywhere and if you got a tiny waist then by all means show it by using a big or small belt. Red-hot color features heavily in Oscar De La Renta gowns, Zac Posen’s ruffle maxi, and the Marc Jacobs Lady in Red, belted shift. Ohne Titel’s flappy, flowing trouser suit enthuses energy and cheerfulness in its invigorating red. Purple is in and dusty pink, emerald green and mustard green are a eyepopping and funky.

Tropical flavors, big and bold as in Caronlena Herrara’s ruffle maxi or Diane von Furstenberg’s flowing green-floral print. Tribal Prints make a big comeback. Blacks and tans, as in Diane von Furstenberg’s strappy tunic dress or Oscar De La Renta’s Tribal puff ball mini. A few leopard prints are thrown in for good measure, following the tribal and jungle theme. One thing though if you are a sexy but voluptuous girl stay away from aggressive and big prints and go for something more subtle.

The colors are brighter, reflecting the true concept of spring and dresses are more prevalent this season, with a real mix of sophistication, a hint of '80s retro and long-floaty maxis reminiscent of the '60s and '70s.

When it comes to swimwear select a piece that suits your body type, it might look fab on Gisele Bundchen but it might not work for me and you so think I look sexy and dress according to you butt and boobs. Asymmetry is a keynote style seen in many of next season’s dresses and soon to be released summer swimwear.

Oh Yeah one more thing the whole I don't eat and do diet pills look was never in so why don't somebody feed Kate Bosworth and the rest of the lollipop gals . Girls need to understand slim and being malnourished are two different bloody things and I like my movie stars with some meat on the bones.

This months fashion disasters are as follows, Victoria Beckham (she was never in, money don't by style, taste does) Paris Hilton need to take a look in the mirror, Barbie is just a doll sweetheart. Donatella Versace...Holy mother, she is a fashion designer but she looks like Bride of Frankenstein...Mischa Fartone are she on mushrooms or what, I just dont get it, she needs to learn the basics of dressing for sure...thats just wacked what she is wearing.

Fashion is not to be serious but make other people that you are....Some designer I use to be
a fan of has some serious bad ass collections, Dolce & Gabbana what the hell I did not like any of there stuff this time Cavalli is repeating himself and Gucci is boring. To mainstream folks I guess you cant please them all but they should try, the prices they charge...We gals have to speak up!!!
Gladiator sandals are still hot and looks yummy sandals with rein stones are cute and give princess feet but pedicure before wearing them is a must.

I am Olinda and I approve this message!

Well , guys since I don't like the word "blog" it is a bit surprising that I am first of all using the word, which in my ears sounds like a strange venereal disease by the way...Lol not only am I a blog virgin I don't see the point in telling or sharing my thoughts with everybody, but I thought I can share some of my twisted and sometimes weird thoughts on life and mix it with both fashion and trends so it does not become to much of a therapy session...'

My first post is about fitting in, what is normal?
Society and their rules, why can't we all just say what we feel! Well, we probably would end up hurting a bunch of dear friends, family and even boyfriends or girlfriends for that matter. But would it not be refreshing if people where more true to themselves.

After all we all put on a warrior mask before we leave out the door in the morning and some people never take it of in the fear of showing people who they trully are, hell, even I have done that. But that my friends was a long time ago, these days I am just me and I can tell you, that it is very liberating.I always felt different since childhood I don't know why I just always had a different outlook in my life then maybe most of my friends and even parents.

In the beginning I hated the fact that a could never be a follower and just get by no questions asked but then I realized that I am a leader in that sense that I choose my own way no matter what other people think and I don't care about if some people dont like the people I hang out with or don't appreciate the things I like.
I don't like authority cause it makes me feel I don't have any freedom, I am not saying I love anarchy, I just like democracy.

I have a choice and I intend to use my voice for as long as I am alive. I feel like I have an old soul though I am young, I can't explain it but I am sure some person out there must feel the same. No I am not on mushrooms...lol
I know this probably sounds weird to some people but hey thats just me I guess, my name is Olinda and I am weird!

So if there are any other weird people don't be afraid and know that you are not alone.
